Roxane Pajouhandeh BSc (Hons) is the clinical lead and director of Aspire Physiotherapy. She is an experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist and registered hand therapist. Roxane qualified in the UK in 2009, and since then has worked in hospitals both in the public and private sector in the UK and New Zealand. Prior to physiotherapy i had completed and gained a BSc (Hons) degree in sports and exercise science in 2006. In 2016 she completed her post graduate certificate in rehabilitation from AUT. This included a hand and upper limb paper and pain management paper. She is fully registered now and holds ACC hand therapy service contract. She also has additional qualifications in acupuncture. Roxanes skills include post operative rehabilitation, splinting, sports injury management, Pilates training with the APPI, pre and post natal physio, and the management of persistent pain conditions.
Aspire Physiotherapy was estabilished in 2017 to provide a physiotherapy service to the west coast community. ACC registered, we accept self referrals, ACC claims can be lodged for you at your appointment.
We have recently welcomed west coaster Rosie to the team who also provides musculoskeletal physiotherapy ,
Rosie graduated from Otago in 2017 and has practiced under the DHB gaining her experience as rotational physiotherapist gaining a wide variety of experience. She currently works as paediatric physiotherapist for the ministry of education when she's not at Aspire.
